MAHITAJI

Dagaa wakavu/dagaa kavu kikombe 1

Kitunguu maji 1 kikubwa(kikate kate)

Pilipili boga nusu (likate kate nusu)

Tomato zilizosagwa kikombe 1

Kitunguu saum kijiko 1 cha chakula

Uzile/bizari nzima kijiko 1 cha chai

Bizari ya mchuzi kijiko 1 cha chai

Kidonge cha supu kimoja 1

Chumvi

Mafuta ya kupikia vijiko 5 vya chakula

MATAYARISHO

1.Kosha roweka dagaa kwa maji ya moto, funika wacha mpaka maji yapoe, chuja weka dagaa pembeni

2.Teleka sufuria tia mafuta kaanga kitunguu mpaka karibu kuwiva ,tia pilipili boga ,kitunguu saum ,kidonge cha supu, bizari ya mchuzi, na uzile,koroga kidogo wacha viwive

3.Tia tomato ulizozisaga na chumvi koroga ,funika wacha kwa dakika 3 hadi 5.

4. Kamulia ndimu ,tia dagaa koroga kidogo na ufunike ,wacha liwive kwa moto mdogo mdogo , epua na lipo tayari kuliwa.

Unaweza kula na ugali au mkate wowote .

ANGALIZO;
Angalia vizuri kabla kutia chumvi, sababu kidonge cha supu kina chumvi nyingi, onja kwanza kuangalia chumvi iliyomo.

INGREDIENTS
Dried omena (seafood) 1 cup
1 large onion (chopped)
Pepper (chopped)
Tomato 1 cup (blended) 
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Tumeric powder 1 tsp
Maggi cube 1 (vegetables maggi)
Salt
Cooking oil 5 tbsp

   METHOD

1.Wash and soak your omena with hot water ,cover until the water has cooled, strain and put it aside

2.in a pan or pot heat oil , add chopped onion and fry ,when nearly done add chopped peppers, maggi cube, garlic paste, cumin and tumeric powder, stir and let it cook

3.When done add blended tomatoes and salt ,stir and cover for 3 to 5 minutes

4. Add lemon juice and omena stir and cover, allow to cook in a low heat until omena ia cooked.

You can serve with hot ugali or bread

NOTE;
Be careful when adding salt because maggi cube contains high level of salt so taste the omena first to adjust the salt taste
